Adi Shankaracharya who belongs to 8 th century was an Indian Vedic scholar and teacher(Acharya).
He explained in detail of “Advaita Vedanta” .It is a Hindu sadhana which is about sprititual discipline of Hindu Vedanta.
The term Advaita Vedanta refers to the idea that Brahma alone is real but the phenomena is an illusion.
He’s mostly known for his Bhashyas in Indian texts. His masterpiece writing was “Brahmasutrabhasya”.
His philisophies went more famous like Moksha – liberating knowledge of Brahman Pramanas – means of knowledge Anubhava
He was influenced by Hinduism like Veda Upanishads and Vedanta
Similarly , by buddhism like Madhyamika Buddha nature Yoga care
He started new movements like Neo-Advaita and Nondualism.
He was not only a scholar but even he influenced Hinduism,Buddhism mainly Vaishnavism and Shaktism made us remember through decades
