AIR INDIA PILOT INVITES HIS FEMALE FRIEND INTO COCKPIT: FINE ₹30 LAKHS BY DGCA
On Friday, DGCA slapped a fine of ₹30 lakhs on Air India.
This fine is due to “safety sensitive issue” .
Relating to the February 27 incident in which a pilot allowed a female companion inside the cockpit during a Delhi-Dubai flight.
The CEO of Air India received a complaint from the flight crew members.
Due to delayed response, the complaint passed to DGCA.
This is not to take a prompt action but just being a safety sensitive issue.
The AirIndia pilot said to the cabin crew that the cockpit areas should be in warm welcoming way.
He even demanded alcohol and snacks to serve her.
