INDIA EXCEEDS CHINA AS WORLD’S MOST POPULATED COUNTRY

According to the UN Report, India’s population is increasing day by day compared to China.

India has a population of 1.42 billion people as of now.

India’s  population growth rate has increased by 1.56% compared to last year.

68% of India’s population falls under age group of 15-64 years.

The fertility rate in the country is expected to be 2.0.

Factors contributing to India’s population growth

1. Lack of equal education 2. Skill building opportunities 3. Access to Technology 4. Digital Innovations for Women 5. Reproductive rights.

India has been facing with poverty, unemployment, limited access to health care and Education.

Indian Government should take intiatives to control population growth, including family planning programs  and awareness campaigns
