THE ONLY PERSON TO BE BURIED ON THE MOON (Eugene Shoe Maker)
Eugene Shoe Maker was the only person to be buried on the moon , not the surface of the moon but below the water on crater (which means hallowed-out area which is caused by volcanic activity).
In 1998, His ashes were carried by NASA’S LUNAR PROSPECTOR Crashed into the surface.
The founder of Astrogeology was always dreamed to be a Astronaut.
His dreams which was not possible as he had been diagnosed with ADDISON’S DISEASE.
But that didn’t stop his life’s work still revolving around SPACE and MOON.
He died in a car accident crash in 1997.
An EX-student of Eugen , approached his wife proposing to take his ashes to the moon.
His lifetime dream of visiting the moon was finally fulfilled by his student.
