VIZAGITES EXPERIENCING BIOLUMINESCENCE PHENOMENON

The phenomenon “Bioluminescence” which is only seen in some states of India.

Now Andhra Pradesh i.e Vishakapatnam joined the list.

Few days back, Vizag people were witnessing a rare sight-glowing lights in water at  Bheemili Beach.This seems to be very rare.

Bioluminescence is caused by living organisms like bacteria, algae,fungi, insects and in some cases ,aquatic animals.It is a type of chemical recation with these organisms, where chemical energy is converted into radiant energy, and hence it produces light.

In India, we see this phenomenon only in few places – Goa, Maharastra, Karnataka, Andaman and Lakshadweep. Now, Vishakapatnam added to the list.
