What is Hero Intercontinental cup 

The Hero Intercontinental cup is an international football tournament organized by the All-India Football Federation [AIFF].

It features for national teams from different continents, as well as the Indian National Team

The tournament was first held in 2018 and the most recent edition was held in July 2019

The Indian National Team won the inaugural edition, while Tajikistan won the second edition.

The tournament is played in a round- robin format, followed by a final between the top two teams.
