World Book day which is also known as Copyright Day.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) organises it each year.

This day is used to promote reading, publishing and copyright.

On April 23, 1995, the first World Book Day was observed.The original idea was conceived in 1992 by Vincente clavel.

The first celebration took place on 7 October 1926.

The celebration continues with great popularity  which is referred as “THE DAY OF BOOKS AND ROSES”.

In 1995, UNESCO decided to celebrate World Book Day on 23 April.

This date is also the death anniversary of William Shakespeare

Even birth or death or many prominent authors.
