Australia wins the WTC Final in 2023 after defeating India by 209 runs and became the first team to win every major championship.
India lost the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final on June 11 at the Oval in London by a score of 209 runs, continuing their ICC trophy drought that dates back to 2013. India invited Australia to bat first after winning the toss, however they let up 469 runs in the first innings, which eventually made the difference between the two teams.
This occurred in cloudy England. Even though Mohammed Siraj took four wickets, Australia was still able to achieve a significant total given the circumstances because to the magnificent hundreds of Travis Head (163) and Steve Smith (121).

With their victory, the Aussies have become the first side in history to win every ICC championship, including the ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, Champions Trophy, and World T20.
