In Telangana, Prime Minister Modi launches projects estimated at Rs. 7200 Cr.

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a momentous occasion on Tuesday as he inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects exceeding Rs 7,200 crore in Sangareddy, located about 60 km from the city. This significant investment encompasses a diverse range of initiatives aimed at fostering growth and prosperity in the region.
The projects span various sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and technology, reflecting a comprehensive vision for progress. With a keen eye on development and innovation, these endeavors are poised to create jobs, improve living standards, and propel the socio-economic landscape of Sangareddy and its surrounding areas towards a brighter future.
The projects unveiled encompass crucial sectors like road, rail, petroleum, and natural gas, signifying a broad spectrum of development. Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) center at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad. Set up by the Airports Authority of India, it aims to elevate R&D efforts in the civil aviation industry.
The state-of-the-art facility, constructed at a cost exceeding Rs 350 crore, boasts a 5-STAR-GRIHA Rating and complies with Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) norms. Modi further inaugurated and initiated the groundwork for three National Highway projects. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for the six-laning of the 29 km Pune-Hyderabad Section of NH-65, enhancing connectivity to Telangana’s key industrial hubs like the Pashamylaram industrial area near Patancheru.
Additionally, six new station buildings were unveiled, further bolstering the infrastructure and services of the railway network. These initiatives reflect a commitment to modernize and improve transportation facilities for the benefit of the public.
This extension of the popular suburban train service to new areas in the Hyderabad-Secunderabad twin city regions promises enhanced connectivity and accessibility for residents.
In another crucial development, Modi inaugurated the Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline, a monumental project spanning 1,212 kilometers with a capacity of 4.5 MMTPA. This pipeline, traversing through the states of Odisha (329 km), Andhra Pradesh (723 km), and Telangana (160 km), represents a significant leap in the transportation of petroleum products.
The pipeline’s route ensures safe and cost-effective transportation, linking the Paradip Refinery to key delivery stations such as Visakhapatnam, Atchutapuram, and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, and Malkapur near Hyderabad in Telangana. This infrastructure upgrade not only enhances the efficiency of petroleum product transportation but also contributes to the economic development of the regions it serves.
Moreover, the Prime Minister’s inauguration of the doubling and electrification of the Sanathnagar-Moula Ali rail line, alongside the unveiling of six new station buildings, underscores the government’s commitment to bolstering rail connectivity and modernizing infrastructure.
