UN Security Council Condemns Terror Attack in Jammu and Kashmir
UN Security Council’s Strong Response
In response to the tragic terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, which resulted in the deaths of at least 26 individuals, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) issued a strong statement condemning the act. The 15-nation council expressed its outrage, stating they condemned the attack “in the strongest terms” and emphasized the urgent need for accountability.
Call for Justice
UNSC members reiterated that all those responsible for these heinous actions must face justice, regardless of their affiliations.

The members of the UNSC also extended their deepest sympathies to the families of the victims, which included tourists from various parts of India and one citizen from Nepal.
