In the near future, generative artificial intelligence (AI) will increase productivity for creative professions, according to Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella.
According to Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella, generative artificial intelligence (AI), which the general public is now using through ChatGPT for a variety of tasks, will soon assist frontline workers, knowledge workers, and creative professionals become more productive.
Nadella showed off some useful capabilities of AI chatbots during his recent visit to India. For example, he responded to a question about Bengaluru’s vision for the future with some lovely pictures and displayed the different foods that make up the popular South Indian tiffins (the AI chatbot showcased biryani too as part of tiffins and later politely apologised to Nadella, smartly saying that biryani is a high-quality food loved by all).
He said in front of the crowd, “To actually have AI chatbots as our co-workers will assist us complete whatever jobs we’re setting out to do by being more creative and more productive, thereby breaking down some of the barriers of learning curves for everyone.”
ChatGPT is gradually exposing its deep neural networks to an increasing number of practical use cases, such as creating plays, poems, essays, and homework.
Kevin Scott, Microsoft’s chief technology officer, predicts that 2023 will be the most thrilling year in the history of the AI community.
According to a recent blog post by Scott, “We can already see its promise in systems like GPT-3, which can do anything from assisting copyedit and summarise material to offering inspiration, and DALL-E 2, which can create useful and eye-catching works of art based on text inputs.”
More people will be able to employ generative AI for creative expression as it becomes more widely accepted and available, whether it is to create intricate artwork or stirring poetry.
In his words, “An AI system like DALL-E 2 doesn’t make everyday people into professional artists, but it provides a tonne of people a visual vocabulary they didn’t have before – a new ability they didn’t believe they would ever have.”
Microsoft, which invested $1 billion in Open AI, the creator of ChatGPT, in 2019, drawn to the promise of AI chatbots, is reportedly intending to invest an additional $10 billion in the business, giving it a market cap of close to $29 billion.
The Information said that the corporation now plans to integrate Open Ai’s AI into Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other programmes.
Additionally, Microsoft is getting ready to roll out a version of its Bing search engine that will respond to select search queries using ChatGPT’s AI.

In spite of this, Ram stated, “it remains to be seen how guardrails are deployed for assuring the utilisation of such tools and, for instance, preventing bad actors from using it with a harmful intent.”
The working methods of a variety of professions could be significantly changed by generative AI, which has the potential to both create new professions and transform existing ones.
The ability to use it ethically and thoughtfully may spark a creative revolution that would allow everyone to express themselves more fully, according to Scott.
