Christine McVie, Passed Away at Age Of 79
Christine McVie wrote some of the legendary Grammy-winning rock band’s most famous songs, including “Little Lies” “Everywhere” and “Songboard”. Christine died on Wednesday at the age of 79 after a brief illness, her family said. Christine has also seen a lot of success as an artist, Singer and Songwriting.
Christine, joined after formation the legendary Grammy-winning rock band in 1967, has wrote some great songs including “Little Lies,” “Everywhere” and “Songboard.” The team was inducted engaged with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. It has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making it the most successful band in the world.
On Wednesday, Kristen’s family members said in a statement posted on Kristen’s official Facebook page that Kristen was “admitted to the hospital due to unwell health and later passed away peacefully at the hospital. It added, “She was there with her family.”
The statement requested solitude “at this very difficult time” and begged “everyone to keep Christine in their hearts and remember the life of an amazing human being, and revered musician, who was adored by everybody.”
With their most well-known lineup consisting of Mick Fleetwood, Christine, and ex-husband John McVie, as well as Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac rose to prominence as one of the most well-known bands of the 1970s and ’80s.
Because it sold more than 40 million copies worldwide, the 1977 “Rumors” album is regarded as one of the best-selling albums in history. McVie quit the band in 1998 but came back for a brief reunion 16 years later.
She disclosed in 2017 on BBC radio’s “Desert Island Discs” programme that she had once again abandoned the band and relocated from California to Kent, southeast England, and that this time, she had suffered agoraphobia.

She was absolutely exceptional, special, and incredibly skilled. “In addition to being the best friend anyone could have; she was also the best musician anyone could have in their band. Being able to live with her was such a blessing.”
