Rumoured couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were last seen working together in Dear Comrade. In a new interview, Rashmika said she hopes to work with him again ‘this year or next’.
Rashmika addressed rumours that she might work on another film with Vijay Deverakonda in an interview. He intended to collaborate with Vijay “this year or next,” she stated. In Dear Comrade, Rashmika and Vijay were last saw working together. She portrayed a cricket player who experiences harassment in the movie. Fans are convinced that Vijay and Rashmika are dating after spotting “identical” recent holiday images of the two; neither has officially confirmed or denied their connection.
Actress Rashmika Mandanna has addressed rumours that she may reunite with Vijay Deverakonda for the third time after the movies Dear Comrade and Geetha Govindam. She is getting ready for the release of her forthcoming Tamil flick Varisu. She expressed her intention to collaborate with Vijay once more in an interview, saying that their supporters and admirers have been wishing for it.
Rashmika said to Gulte when asked if she would work with Vijay once more, “As of right now, no. But I’m hoping that happens this or the following year. I feel like I’ve received a lot of comments from our fans who feel like we haven’t appeared together on screen in a while. Waiting for a script that supports both of our characteristics, we want to do that justice.
She continued, saying that she “really adored working with him.” Rashmika I really want to see how much better I can be because I feel like I’ve improved so much after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. I want him to watch me perform, and I want to see how he responds. I hope it occurs in the following year or so,” she remarked.
Rashmika has recently been under fire for not having watched the Kannada movie Kantara in a while. Even though she is a Kannadiga, she responded to those who attacked her for not seeing the movie. She had claimed that due to job responsibilities, she would not be able to watch the movie as soon as it was released. She had claimed that she had eventually seen the movie and had even informed the team of her intentions.
On the professional front, she will shortly start working on the Pushpa franchise’s second instalment. She will reconnect with Allu Arjun in the movie. The movie will premiere the next year. Pushpa: The Rule was formally introduced in August of last year with a pooja ritual. The sequel will also be directed by Sukumar. Later this month, Rashmika is anticipated to join the sets.
