People have decided who truly carries forward the legacy of Bal Thackeray.” He stressed that the public had given its verdict in favor of Shinde, dismissing any doubts about his leadership and credibility.
Fadnavis also took a firm stance on the need for responsible speech, stating, “You cannot legitimize your fault by hiding behind the Constitution. The Constitution gives us freedom, but that freedom is not absolute. You cannot encroach on others’ rights under the guise of free speech. Shiv Sena leader Milind Deora also joined the debate, slamming the Opposition and accusing them of showing “classist arrogance” by mocking Shinde. “Mocking Eknath Shinde, a self-made leader, reeks of classist arrogance.
