The exhibition opens January 1, running until February 15

Hyderabad is preparing to welcome one of its most loved annual traditions as the All India Industrial Exhibition (AIIE) Society gears up for Numaish 2026 at the historic Exhibition Grounds. A symbol of the city’s cultural and commercial spirit, Numaish will be inaugurated on January 1 and continue until February 15, 2026, drawing visitors from across Telangana and beyond.

The exhibition will be open daily, with timings set from 4:00 pm to 10:30 pm on weekdays, and extended until 11:00 pm on weekends and public holidays. The managing committee has said these hours may be adjusted if required, depending on crowd flow and other factors.

Every year, Numaish attracts thousands of applications from traders and entrepreneurs seeking stall space. Exhibitors range from crockery and readymade garments to shawls, handicrafts, beddings, upholstery, and household items. For many small and medium businesses, the exhibition serves as a crucial platform to reach a wide and diverse audience.

Beyond shopping, Numaish is known for blending commerce with recreation and relaxation. The vibrant atmosphere, illuminated stalls, and festive crowds make it a complete family outing. Organisers expect lakhs of visitors over the 46-day run, reaffirming the exhibition’s place as a major seasonal attraction in Hyderabad.

Food continues to be one of Numaish’s biggest draws. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of stalls offering traditional sweets, lip-smacking haleem, popular chaat items, and other local favourites. Adding to the festive mood, joyrides and amusement attractions will be set up, especially catering to children.

Special theme days are also planned, including a ‘Ladies Day’ and a ‘Children’s Special Day,’ designed to offer tailored experiences and encourage greater participation from families.

Safety remains a key focus for the organisers. Robust security arrangements will be in place, including CCTV surveillance, trained security personnel, an on-site police station, and comprehensive fire safety measures. These steps aim to ensure that visitors can enjoy the exhibition in a safe and comfortable environment.

Fondly known as Numaish, the exhibition is more than just a marketplace—it is a celebration of Hyderabad’s shared heritage, bringing together tradition, trade, food, and festivity under one roof.
