In another clash in Manipur, 2 people died, and 40 Militants killed so far
In several parts of Manipur, many clashes happened on Sunday. In which two people died. Chief Minister N. Biren Singh told to media that 40 armed militants got killed by Indian security forces. They are involved in much violence in Manipur and fire incidents like killing innocent people in flare-up violence.
Chief Minister told to media that Indian forces launched oppression to take down such militants who tried to conflict in Manipur, manipulate to Kuki and Naga tribes, and spread misinformation among people also the militants are involved in drugs and weapons. Our security forces killed 40 militants during oppression and they trying to regain peace in Manipur.
Police officers told media that at least two people were killed and 12 were injured in different incidents of firing on Sunday. The police official said that one person was killed and one was injured in firing by suspected Kuki militants at Phayeng in Imphal. Since last month till now, continuous violence has erupted in Manipur and is not bringing the name of stoppage. Indian Defense Forces is continuously working to maintain peace. In a month, the protesters have burnt and broken many government and non-government goods. The government suspects that external forces may be behind this.
