Sai Life Sciences, one of the fastest growing Contract Research, Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CRO-CDMO) in India and part of Telangana’s Emerging Life Sciences eco-systems announced a 5-acre block plantation project on Sunday.
Telangana Social Impact Group (T-SIG), a government initiative to encourage corporations to direct their corporate efforts towards pressing social and environmental causes.
As part of a project, Sai Life Sciences will support a tree plantation drive of 2,000 plants and plant conservation for two years to help create new green breathing spaces in Greater Hyderabad. A Block Plantation Project in Chilkur Reserve Forest planted in open spaces will maintain a new green belt in a 5-acre area and expand the green cover of the city. More than 100 employees of Sai Life Sciences participated in this grand event, planted saplings with the members of the State Forest Department, took part in the nature walk organized by the Forest Department officials and solemnly took the pledge to save the world.
