Prior to its direct-to-digital Zee5 debut on December 2, the Zee5 Original film “India Lockdown” had its world premiere at IFFI. The cast and crew received an amazing reception at the reputable film festival, which increased the film’s legitimacy and buzz.

Hyderabad: Madhur Bhandarkar is the director of “India Lockdown,” a Zee5 Original that was produced in collaboration with PEN Studios, Bhandarkar Entertainment, and PJ Motion Pictures. Prior to its direct-to-digital Zee5 release on December 2, the movie had its world premiere at IFFI. The cast and crew there had an amazing reception, which added to the buzz and credibility of the movie.

The Directorate of Film Festivals (under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) and the State government of Goa jointly organise IFFI, which takes place every November 20–28.

Like the previous edition, the 53rd edition also saw the launch of many famous films including “India Lockdown”. Along with director Madhur Bhandarkar, lead actors Shweta Basu Prasad, Prateik Babbar and Sai Tamhankar stand out for their work received praise. “India Lockdown” is one of the most anticipated films of the year and India’s first film on the Covid-19 pandemic

The National Award-winning director said on what was the first public screening of “India Lockdown” and the thunderous response from thousands to the festival the spirit increased. All the actors have been praised for their performances and the film is a hit Which I’m sure people around the world will love because it’s relatable and sustainable

He continued, “Lockdown was difficult for everyone, but some tales needed to be told and recorded. My observations led to the creation of the film, which depicts those unknown tales that illustrate a distinct aspect of human emotions, such as uncertainty, worry, loneliness, and survival instincts. On December 2, when it airs on Zee5, I can’t wait for everyone to see it.
