Class 10th sees a pass rate of 99.47%, while Class 12th has 98.19% pass rate.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, declared the results for the ICSE (Class 10th) and ISC (Class 12th) Examinations Year 2024 on Monday.

For the academic year 2023-2024, the pass rate for Class 10th stood impressively high at 99.47%, with 2,42,328 students successfully clearing the exams. Meanwhile, for Class 12th, the pass percentage was 98.19%, with 98,088 students passing.

In terms of gender distribution, out of the 99,901 students appearing for the Class 10th examinations, 52.82% were boys (52,765) and 47.18% were girls (47,136). This balanced representation reflects the dedication and commitment of students across genders towards their academic pursuits.

In the recently announced results for the ICSE (Class 10th) and ISC (Class 12th) Examinations Year 2024 by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, regional variations and achievements among differently-abled students have emerged as noteworthy highlights.

  1. Regional Pass Percentage:
  • For Class 10th, the Western region has achieved the highest pass percentage at an impressive 99.91%. Following closely behind is the Southern region with a pass percentage of 99.88%.
  • In Class 12th, the Southern region has secured the highest pass percentage, standing at 99.53%, demonstrating the academic prowess of students in the region. The Western region follows with a commendable pass percentage of 99.32%.
  1. Performance of Differently-Abled Students:
  • In Class 10th, a total of 1,088 differently-abled students with learning difficulties bravely took the exams, showcasing their determination and resilience. Remarkably, 98 of them surpassed expectations by obtaining marks above 90%.
  • Additionally, 40 visually challenged students participated in the Class 10th exams, with 12 candidates achieving remarkable scores above 90%.
  1. Achievements in Class 12th among Differently-Abled Students:
  • In Class 12th, 236 differently-abled students with learning difficulties demonstrated their academic capabilities by appearing for the exams. Encouragingly, 18 of them excelled with marks above 90%.
  • Similarly, 11 visually challenged students undertook the Class 12th exams, with two candidates achieving outstanding scores above 90%.

These results underscore the inclusivity and support provided by the CISCE to differently-abled students, ensuring equal opportunities for academic success. Furthermore, the regional disparities in pass percentages highlight the need for targeted educational interventions and support systems to enhance academic outcomes across all regions.
