No update on 77 Isha pilgrims missing in Tibet
- 77 Isha Foundation pilgrims remain missing after flash floods near Gyirong, along the Nepal-Tibet border.
- The pilgrims were travelling as part of a Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage.
- The group has reportedly been out of contact for two days.
- Pilgrims belong to 19 different nationalities.
- Coordinator Maa Gambhiri said there has been no update despite rescue teams operating in the region.
- Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev reportedly wanted to travel to Gyirong to assist with rescue and relief efforts but could not obtain the required approval.

- The pilgrims were reportedly at the Gyirong immigration office when the flash flood struck.
- Floodwaters reportedly inundated the immigration building and parts of the town, disrupting communications.
- Three Isha Foundation volunteers were stranded in Timure, Nepal.
- The missing group includes 22 US, 12 Canadian, 11 Australian and nine UK nationals.
- Other pilgrims are from Germany, France, Nepal, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain and several other countries.
- Difficult terrain, damaged infrastructure and disrupted communication are complicating rescue efforts.
- Nepal police have reported at least 579 deaths and nearly 1,000 missing people in the disaster.
