Republic Day 2023: On January 26, these individuals will receive free rides on the Delhi Metro.
At the metro stations serving Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, and Mandi House, DMRC will station more Customer Facilitation Agents/staff there.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announced in a statement on Monday that it has decided to provide free rides to those invited to the 74th Republic Day celebrations at Kartavya Path, exiting from Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, or Mandi House metro stations only to reach the site.
“The Delhi Metro would issue tickets (coupons) to them from respective metro stations across the network free of charge,” the DMRC stated. “Persons carrying bona fide e-Invitation Cards/e-Tickets for attending the 74th Republic Day ceremony on January 26, 2023, at Kartavya Path.”

These e-ticket holders may enter and exit the Republic Day celebration by using the Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, or Mandi House Metro stations only after the ceremony is over, and they must provide the same ticket to do so (coupon).
On January 26, 2023, alone, these discounts will be valid for travel between 4:30 am and 8:00 am. However, until 2:00 p.m. on January 26, 2023, escape through these coupons will be permitted.
The announcement stated that in order to receive the free vouchers, users of the facility “must possess a government-issued photo Identity Card and must produce it before the officials at the Metro station.”
DMRC will place more Customer Facilitation Agents/staff at Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, and Mandi House metro stations to handle the anticipated increase in traffic. Additionally, the parking lots will be open for their convenience.
