The Telangana government has introduced mobile app to track the attendance of staff in schools
The new initiative has introduced by Telangana Government, Mobile app to track the attendance in the government schools of teaching and non-teaching teachers of local schools in Hyderabad, Medchal district and Ranga Reddy district.
Usually, in government schools, teaching and non-teaching staff used to sign the register and take the same signature as attendance. The state government and local bodies decide that mobile app attendance of teaching and non-teaching staff in the school should be implemented in the school.
In this new program which is being implemented as a pilot project in the school, the staff must remember their attendance on in and out time as Geo-Attendance through mobile app. By taking a time staffed and Geo-tagged selfie photo with the latitude and longitude of the school building. The app contains extensive staff information as well as the location of the school facility in latitude and longitude.
When school staff takes a selfie at school, it adjusts the details including longitude and latitude, and it registers the attendance directly on the dashboard. Geo-Attendance is low cost comparing to bio-metric attendance and it comes with full proof for attendance registration.
Allows users to record attendance when not connected to the internet, which is synced to the dashboard. Attendance of the employee can be checked and remembered through the app, leave can be requested and status can be checked, and information related to the places visited by the employee while on duty can be recorded.
A sridevasena, the director of the school education directed to the district educational officials of the Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal districts to implement the new initiative to track the staff attendance and perform their duties regularly.
