Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has issued a detailed assessment report on the extensive damage caused by the recent heavy rains and subsequent floods in the state. According to the report released by the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Monday, the total estimated loss due to the floods amounts to a staggering Rs 5438 crore. - Energy Department (damage to electrical installations): Rs 175 crore

- Medical and Health Department: Rs 12 crore
- Animal Husbandry Department: Rs 25 crore
- Municipal Administration: Rs 1150 crore
- Public Properties: Rs 500 crore
