Telangana summit invites top leaders, sparking nationwide anticipation.

Telangana has invited 4,500 representatives, bringing together leaders, experts, and innovators to shape a hopeful, collaborative future.

Hyderabad is preparing for one of its most ambitious international events as the Telangana government gears up to host the Telangana Rising Global Summit on December 8 and 9. The upcoming summit, which aims to showcase the state’s vision for global collaboration and future-ready development, has already drawn widespread interest. In a significant gesture, the state government plans to invite both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, bringing two of India’s most influential political figures under one roof for the high-profile event.

According to an official statement from the office of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, invitations will be extended not only to national leaders but also to influential personalities across different sectors worldwide. The summit will be held at Bharat Future City, a massive upcoming development venture positioned as a futuristic extension of Hyderabad. Conceptualized and pushed forward by the Congress-led government, Bharat Future City symbolizes the state’s aspiration to transform Telangana into a global economic and technological powerhouse.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is expected to personally invite Prime Minister Modi, Rahul Gandhi, and AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge. The personal outreach is being seen as an important political and administrative gesture, underscoring Telangana’s intention to make the summit a unifying platform rather than a partisan affair. The event is being projected as a national, even global, gathering of thought leaders.

Experts from a variety of fields,” the CMO’s press release stated. The underlying message is clear: Telangana wants the world to witness its growth story and its roadmap for the next decade.

The government has already begun preparing for the massive logistical exercise. State ministers and senior officials will be responsible for inviting notable personalities across different sectors. A dedicated Invitation Committee will soon be formed, which will coordinate invitations, manage RSVP timelines, facilitate the arrival of dignitaries, and oversee hospitality arrangements. To streamline operations, the government will launch a special website under the committee’s supervision. This platform will serve as an official hub for event details, registrations, guest coordination, and summit updates.

The scale of participation is already significant. Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to the Government, confirmed that the state has already reached out to 4,500 representatives from industries, academia, science, sports, finance, technology, and global organizations. Out of these, more than 1,000 have confirmed their attendance, indicating the enthusiasm surrounding the event. With each passing day, the list of attendees is expected to grow, making it one of the largest gatherings Telangana has ever hosted.

The summit also comes at a time when the Telangana government is aggressively pushing forward its vision to transform Hyderabad and its surrounding regions into a global economic center. On September 28, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stones for two major projects within Bharat Future City, located in Mirkhanpet in Kandukuru Mandal of Ranga Reddy district. These projects are expected to serve as catalysts for the state’s long-term development plans.

During the foundation-laying ceremony, Revanth Reddy expressed bold confidence in the region’s future. He declared that Bharat Future City would evolve into a hub for Fortune 500 companies within the next 10 years. He outlined a clear vision of the area becoming a magnet for international investments, cutting-edge technologies, and high-value employment opportunities. The government believes that the Rising Global Summit will be the perfect platform to tell this story to world leaders and global industry pioneers.

For Telangana, the summit is more than just a business event—it is a symbol of its aspirations. The government wants to position the state as a global destination for innovation, sustainability, technology, and economic partnerships. Hyderabad already enjoys a reputation as one of India’s fastest-growing tech hubs, home to global giants like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Meta. The idea of Bharat Future City builds on this foundation, promising an even more futuristic, integrated, and globally relevant ecosystem.

The summit is also expected to spotlight Telangana’s strengths: a skilled workforce, strong infrastructure, investor-friendly policies, and a vision aligned with global priorities such as green energy, digital transformation, urban innovation, and inclusive economic growth. It is likely that many agreements, partnerships, and investment announcements will emerge from the two-day gathering.

As preparations intensify, Telangana finds itself in the national spotlight. The inclusion of both Modi and Rahul Gandhi—two towering figures often seen on opposite sides of India’s political spectrum—adds a layer of significance and anticipation. Their presence, if confirmed, would mark a powerful moment symbolizing cooperation and shared commitment to India’s growth.

Ultimately, the Telangana Rising Global Summit is shaping up to be an event that reflects the state’s confidence, ambition, and desire to build bridges across politics, industry, innovation, and global partnerships. The world will be watching as Hyderabad opens its doors to leaders, thinkers, and changemakers eager to shape the future together.
