Bollywood star Vidya Balan, famous for her iconic portrayal of Manjulika in 2007’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa, expressed her happiness about joining the much-anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. At the trailer launch held in Jaipur’s historic Raj Mandir cinema hall, Balan reflected on the immense love the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise has brought her over the years.
Speaking at the event, Balan shared her excitement, stating, “After 17 years, I’m back in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I’m overjoyed.
She humorously thanked director Anees Bazmee for casting her in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, saying, “I’d like to thank Anees Bazmee first. Thank you very much for bringing me into Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3… Otherwise, I would have possessed Bhushan Kumar!
The event saw the presence of co-stars Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, and Rajpal Yadav, alongside Bazmee and producer Bhushan Kumar. While Balan expressed her gratitude to both Bazmee and Kumar, who leads the production banner T-Series, she also shared why the trailer was launched in Jaipur.
“As Kartik said, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ was shot here, just like the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which was entirely shot in Jaipur.
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, with its unique mix of horror and comedy, has gained a massive following. Balan’s return to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has heightened expectations. Kartik Aaryan, who plays a key role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, spoke about his experience working alongside Balan and Madhuri Dixit, describing it as mesmerizing. “I was just mesmerized watching them.
Aaryan also teased a specific scene from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 where he shares screen space with both Balan and Dixit. The scene was thrilling, a bit creepy, and somewhat horrific, yet I enjoyed acting in it,” he said, giving fans a sneak peek of the suspense to come.
Madhuri Dixit, though absent from the trailer launch due to prior commitments, sent a heartfelt video message that was played at the event.
