Will RSS be Banned along with Bajrang Dal? Karnataka minister reveals Complete Plan
” No one has the right to disturb peace or harmony in Karnataka, we not going to tolerate them and take strict illegal action no matter whether they are any political and religious groups. We know how to deal with this kind of group and we ensure that no one trying to mislead people if they are BJP or PFI.”
This is the statement of Priyanka Kharge, a minister in the new government of Karnataka and son of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Priyank quoted one of his interviews and talked about banning RSS as well. This statement Kharge came immediately after the formation of the government when the issue of banning Bajrang Dal caught a lot of fire during the election.
In fact, before the election the Congress had talked about decisive action against organizations like Bajrang Dal and Popular Front of India in its manifesto, had said that We would take “strict and hard action” against political or religious organizations that spread “enmity or hatred” between society.
As some media report after winning the election government can think about banning Bajrang Dal.
After this, on the day of the results, when Siddaramaiah was asked whether Congress would ban Bajrang Dal after coming to power? As per the India Today report, Siddharamiaha said,.
“You have to read the congress manifesto we write that if any political group or religious organization try to disturb peace in Karnataka we gonna ban them.”
During the election, the BJP made it a big issue against the Congress. In an election rally in Karnataka, PM Modi himself said that if Congress come to power, it will ban Bajrang Dal. PM Modi had also linked this issue with Bajrangbali.
However, many Congress leaders have officially said on this that in their manifesto it has been talked about banning Bajrang Dal. But Priyank Kharge’s talk of banning RSS has given birth to a new debate. However, till now no comment has come from BJP on this.
