CM KCR, to launch the prestigious Airport Express Metro project on December 09, the metro project will be 31km’s long, and will connect form Mindspace to Shamshabad Airport. The total value of these project Rs: 6,250 crores.
On December 9, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will lay the groundwork for the Airport Express Metro Corridor, a significant effort to advance infrastructure development in the State capital. The project, which would be 31 kilometres long, will link Shamshabad Airport with Mindspace Junction. It would be undertaken at a cost of Rs. 6,250 crore.
“Hyderabad is Making Progress. Happy to announce that the foundation for the Airport Express Metro will be laid on December 9th by Honorable CM KCR Garu,” Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao tweeted on Sunday afternoon.
Both elevated and underground sections will be present on the proposed high-speed Hyderabad Metro Rail route, with about 2.5 km of the entire line being underground. The project would likely be supervised by the Hyderabad Airport Metro Rail (HAML).
The Metro connection from the airport to the central city is predicted to take just 20 minutes. It’s anticipated that there would be a number of stations, including Bio-Diversity Junction, Nanakramguda, Narsingi, TS Police Academy, Rajendranagar, Shamshabad, and the airport terminal and cargo station.
