11-year-old Malayali with the brain of Einstein
In 2022 a 9-year-old girl Hana Rafeeq made it to the headlines by becoming the youngest IOS developer and creating a storytelling app called ‘Hanas’. And today we see another girl paving her way to the headlines by doing something incredible at such a young age.
Giving phones to young children is always considered bad, but look how Leena Rafeeq proved this wrong.
Leena Rafeeq and Hana Rafeeq are sisters and both are self-taught app developers. The two sisters are now known for their impressive app-developing skills at a very young age.
These mini-coders set major milestones and brought pride to the country. The Apple CEO, Tim Cook himself came down to appreciate the masterminds.
Leena Mohamed Rafeeq is an 11-year-old Dubai-based Malayali girl. The young enthusiast started coding at a very young age and studied the computer language in depth.
Leena started programming and developing websites when she was just learning numbers, and by the age of six Leena amazed everyone by creating a website for her school science fair.
Now she is 11 and this time, Leena Rafeeq appeared on the news by developing an app that can detect eye diseases on Apple iPhone using the iPhone scanner.
Leena named the app – ‘Ogler Eyescan’ and used the LinkedIn platform to share about it. She said that she has been working on the app since she was 10 and shared what she had learned during the process of development.
Leena reportedly did 6 months of research on eye diseases, the app, and its development. And finally now she sent the app for review to the Apple.
On LinkedIn, Leena shared a video of her demonstrating the working of her app. Leena added that Ogler Eyescan functions on scanning and computer vision.
When an eye is within the reach of the scanner it analyses the color intensity, light, distance, and other factors. The analysis is then looked up to locate eye points within the frame range.
Ogler Eyescan can identify conditions like Melanoma, Arcus, Cataracts, and Pterygium with its advanced vision and learning algorithm.
Leena also added that the software can detect light burst issues if eyes are positioned exactly in the given frame of scanner.
The young self-taught coder stated that her journey through the development of the app was incredible and that she has gained so much knowledge about eye conditions, computer algorithms, and advanced levels of Apple IOS development.
Leena also mentioned that Ogler is currently available on iPhone 10 and above with iOS 16+. The app is under the Apple review system and will be made available once it is approved.
The young talent is now the talk of the town and is widely appreciated by netizens all over the world. Leena received applause for her efforts from many elites and programming experts.
Let us hope that Apple approves Ogler. Tvbharat24 congratulates Leena Rafeeq on her wonderful achievement and wishes Leena a lot more success to come her way with a bright future ahead.
