BJP says, Telangana State Government Pushing T.S Into Horrible
According to the BJP, the Telangana State Government is pushing the state into disaster.
According to Nizamabad MP Aravind, the Telangana State Government has borrowed heavily in order to purchase the power of a continuous energy supply.
Telangana: The BJP claimed that the Telangana State Government is driving the state into “horrible” unpredictable policies by borrowing dreadful loans worth thousands of crores to buy power at a very high cost of nearly Rs: 10/- per unit and putting the burden on consumers with a high tariff of Rs: 9.5 per unit.
D. Aravind, a Member of Parliament, and Raghunandan Rao, a Member of the Legislative Assembly, claimed in a press conference at the State Office on Thursday, according to sources. Trying to argue that the huge cost of buying power energy without massively increasing production capacity would only put pressure on the public with excessive taxes in the future is futile.
TRS’s 2014 manifesto promised to build ten thermal power energy projects, with the exception of one 270 MW unit of Bhadradri Thermal Power Station, which has yet to be built despite the eight current stations being proposed to the government. He stated that the Yadadri Thermal Plant ceased operations due to a lack of coal supplies and a lack of response from NGT.
Because there is no maintenance or repair, the current power plants are less efficient and emit more pollution. Mr. Arvind MP stated that the government of Telangana’s Chief Minister, Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao, has also acted unreasonably by avoiding pursuing any programs, particularly study research or any other economic incentives, to support putting more sources of electricity, such as solar energy, as the global trend away from thermal power changes.
According to Mr. Arvind MP, the BJP state governments are actively promoting solar energy. Madhya Pradesh’s government is providing farmers with nearly 90% of the subsidy for solar pump sets through the Centre’s PM “Kusum Yojana,” which has powered 35 lakh solar pump sets nationwide.
The farmer must bear 40% of the cost while receiving a 60% subsidy (30% Center – 30% State). However, he claims that only about 400 pump sets in TS have such connections. These facts were gathered by the group he oversaw in order to expose the TRS administration on multiple levels. We will research 25 sectors and present a report to the party based on best practices from other states. He stated that the manifesto for the upcoming elections would be based on it.
