Dipke vows protests until Pradhan resigns from ministry

Dipke claims 7,000 joined protest, next steps pending

Online movement Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday, June 7, 2026, said that the campaign demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan would continue until their concerns regarding examination-related irregularities are addressed.

Speaking a day after a protest held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, Dipke said the movement has received significant support from students and young people across the country. According to him, the agitation is focused on issues affecting millions of aspirants who appear for board examinations, entrance tests and recruitment exams every year.

The protest, organised by the Cockroach Janta Party, called for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in CBSE board examinations, higher education entrance tests and government recruitment examinations. Participants argued that recurring controversies have undermined confidence in the examination system and created uncertainty among students.

Dipke said the movement would continue peacefully and democratically until accountability is fixed. He maintained that students deserve a transparent and reliable examination process and that concerns raised by candidates cannot be ignored.

“The protest is not ending here. We will continue to raise our voice on issues affecting students and job aspirants across the country,” Dipke said while interacting with supporters and media representatives.

The activist described the June 6 demonstration at Jantar Mantar as a success, claiming that thousands of people participated in the gathering. According to him, the turnout reflected growing frustration among young people regarding examination management and employment-related challenges.

He said the next phase of the campaign would be decided after consultations with members of the movement and supporters from different states. Discussions are expected to focus on future protests, awareness campaigns and possible initiatives aimed at pushing for reforms in the education sector.

Dipke also stressed that the movement is not limited to a single examination issue. He argued that broader reforms are needed to improve transparency, accountability and efficiency in educational and recruitment processes. According to him, students invest years of effort preparing for competitive examinations and deserve a system that functions fairly and without controversy.

The Jantar Mantar protest attracted attention on social media, where videos and photographs from the demonstration were widely shared. Supporters of the movement said examination irregularities have become a major concern for students and called for stronger safeguards to prevent future controversies.

As the campaign gains visibility, the Cockroach Janta Party leadership says it will continue engaging with students, educators and civil society groups. The organisation plans to announce its future course of action after internal discussions, while maintaining pressure on the government over its demand for the resignation of the Education Minister and broader reforms in the examination system.
