Karnataka has 5,05,48,553 registered voters, according to information from the Special Summary Revision of the Electoral Rolls that was made public by the Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Kumar Meena on Thursday.

On Thursday, the final voter lists for 221 of the 224 Assembly districts in Karnataka were made public. The records will be made public on January 15 for the final three Assembly districts in Bengaluru, Shivajinagar, Chickpet, and Mahadevapura, where an investigation into alleged voter data theft is ongoing.

Karnataka has 5,05,48,553 registered voters, according to information from the Special Summary Revision of the Electoral Rolls that was made public by the Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Kumar Meena on Thursday. The electoral rolls have seen an increase of 12,31,540 voters and a decrease of 6,18,965 voters. There were 4, 99,34,730 total voters in 221 parts on the draught electoral rolls.

Sringeri in the Chikkamagaluru district has the fewest voters (1,66,521), while Bengaluru South constituency has the most voters (6,50,53). There are 7,01,243 more young voters listed on the final electoral rolls for 2023 than there were for 2023. Karnataka has a 973:1 gender ratio as of the 2011 Census. However, the gender ratio is 988 according to the official election records for 2023. Teenagers who have reached the age of 17 may request that their names be added to the electoral rolls. Meena stated that an investigation is underway on claims of voter data theft and that a report would be delivered on January 15 after which appropriate action will be taken.

BBMP makes public the final voter list

BENGALURU: Following a procedure of omission, deletion, and correction, as well as after consulting parties, the BBMP produced the final voters’ list. In Bengaluru City’s 25 Assembly segments, there are 82,29,375 registered voters, according to the final list.

The final list for the three Assembly districts in Mahadevapura, Chick­pet, and Shivajinagar where the suspected voter data theft was reported would be made public on January 15 according to BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath. Male voters total 42,65,140, female voters 39,62,712, and other voters 1,523, according to the final data. Girinath stated that a supplemental list will include about 87 names from the community of third gender people.
