RATAN TATA – THE SYMBOL OF VICTORY TODAY MADE IT TO THE NEWS BY GETTING HIS HANDS ON YET ANOTHER HONOUR
‘The Order of Australia’. What is so special about it? It is Australia’s highest civilian award. The highest honor of a foreign nation being awarded to our nation’s hero is definitely something to be proud of. Our Indian top-class businessman, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, Mr. Ratan Tata proved that his success reached countries by crossing the oceans.
The country of Australia bestowed its highest civilian honor upon Indian industrialist Ratan Tata. The Order of Australia was given to him for playing a key role in keeping ties and boosting the ties between the nations India and Australia.
The successful industrialist was paramount in India’s trade, business, and philanthropy between India and Australia, and so he did his best to keep the bond strong. A month ago, the industrialist was chaired as an Honorary officer in Australia’s General Division of the order. The position was given to him keeping his service to strengthen and enrich Indo-Australian ties in mind.
Ratan Tata also has India’s two highest civilian awards – the Padma Bhushan and the Padma Vibhushan on his shelves of accolades. Speaking about the awards he has won will be a never-ending task because this greatest industrialist has his hands on more than 20 awards.
Aged 85 – he is still in his 20’s energy when comes to achieving something. He was the chairman of Tata Group – a conglomerate of over 100 companies. He was in the chair for 21 years i.e., from 1991 to 2012. Having been on the chair he spread the wings of his group and made it a global player – one of the reasons she is termed as India’s most successful and influential businessman.
Under his leadership, his group achieved milestones or more like set milestones. He took the group from being a small company to being a conglomerate of more than 100 companies. The Tata Group’s reason to have a wide range of industries under them is Ratan Tata who had a revenue boost from $6.5 billion to $83 billion.
In addition to his business achievements, the top industrialist also is a philanthropist and has established numerous foundations. His foundations include the Tata Education and Development Trust – specially built to provide educational support to underprivileged children. His donations to charities and funds are something that makes him more than just an industrialist.
Since the day he stepped into the industrial business and trades, he never stepped back nor did his efforts. His greatness was recognized by everyone in India and seeing him being recognized by countries around the world is a proud moment.
