JD Vance Claims Epstein Had Intelligence Agency Connections like Mossad, CIA or both.

- Vance said Epstein could have had ties to Mossad, the CIA, or other intelligence networks.
- He admitted the Trump administration mishandled the Epstein files release.
- He claimed the files should have been released more quickly and more completely.
- He said Israel spent heavily to derail US-Iran negotiations.
- He described the effort as a foreign influence campaign aimed at keeping the war going.
- He said some online attacks against him were linked to people funded through Israeli government-connected channels.
JD Vance has stirred controversy by suggesting that Jeffrey Epstein may have had links to Mossad, the CIA, or other intelligence networks, while also conceding that the Trump administration mishandled the release of the Epstein files. In the same podcast conversation, he accused elements in Israel of trying to derail US-Iran talks and shape American opinion against diplomacy.
Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, Vance said Epstein “clearly had connections” to high levels of both American and Israeli intelligence, and when Rogan floated the idea that Epstein worked for Mossad, Vance replied: “Yeah, Mossad or CIA. enough to guarantee fresh debate.
Vance also argued that Epstein was more closely connected to the Israeli left-of-centre political ecosystem than to the right wing, saying the “Epstein saga” did not appear to be tied to the right-centre of Israeli politics. The comment was notable not just for what it implied about Epstein’s relationships, but also for how it widened the discussion beyond the familiar question of his wealth and abuse network.
On the Epstein files, Vance adopted a rare tone of admission. He said the Trump-led administration was “guilty” of mishandling the release, especially in the way it communicated with the public. He argued that the files should have been released quickly and in full at the outset, even though some material would still require review and redaction.
Vance also suggested that the line between victim and co-conspirator could be difficult to draw in some parts of the material. He said he believed there was “a story there” that he would take to his “deathbed,” while also insisting he could not prove the full picture and that no hidden document exists to settle the matter once and for all.
The interview then shifted to the Iran issue, where Vance made another explosive claim: that Israel had spent heavily to sabotage negotiations with Tehran. He said a “literal foreign influence campaign” was being funded to kill the deal he was pursuing and to keep the war going without a clear end.
Vance pointed to a Time magazine article he described as worth reading, saying it identified people allegedly paid through a former Trump campaign figure who had ties to elements within the Israeli government. According to Vance, those people attacked him online and pressured him to abandon diplomacy and support continued conflict.
