Sushant Singh Rajput transitioned from a TV actor to a Bollywood celebrity with the help of “Kai Po Che.” He played a failed cricketer who developed an obsession with the game and ultimately became a coach. Sushant Singh Rajput had a small but charming role in the film, and critics lauded him for his on-screen sincerity and simplicity. He portrayed Sarfaraz, a Pakistani man who falls in love with Jaggu, an Indian woman (played by Anushka Sharma).

With his outstanding portrayal of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the biopic, Sushant Singh Rajput captured the hearts of the audience. The fact that so many people were enthralled and some couldn’t tell whether they were watching Sushant or Dhoni on TV speaks much about Sushant’s talent as an actor.

In the heartbreaking love story, SSR plays “Mansoor Khan.” The film that served as Sara Ali Khan’s Bollywood debut was an interfaith love story centred around the devastating and well-known 2013 Kedarnath floods and landslides that claimed many lives.

Chhichhore, which was a tremendous film office hit, featured Sushant in yet another amazing performance. Sushant blasted through the various facets of his character Aniruddh Pathak, an engineering graduate going through a divorce whose world implodes when his only kid commits suicide after failing an engineering entrance exam.

For the role of Manny in the film, Sushant Singh Rajput contributed everything. His final film, “Dil Bechara,” was directed by Mukesh Chhabra and starring Sanjana Sanghi as well. It was released on the OTT service Disney Plus Hotstar after his passing.
