As part of his historic three-day state visit to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Tesla CEO and Twitter founder Elon Musk today. After the conversation, Musk told reporters, “I’m a fan of Modi.”

Therefore, we have been acquainted for some time,” Musk stated. “I am tremendously optimistic about India’s future. In my opinion, India offers the greatest potential of any major nation on earth.
The Prime Minister first met Musk in 2015 when visiting the California plant of Tesla Motors.
When questioned about an estimated date for Tesla’s arrival in India, Musk responded, “I am confident Tesla will be there and will do so as soon as humanly possible.”
“PM Modi genuinely cares about India because he’s urging us to make significant investments there, which we do often. We just need to determine the best moment,” the Twitter CEO continued. He really wants to act in India’s best interests. He wants to be transparent and helpful to the businesses. Naturally, you should also see to it that India benefits from it.
The publication Wall Street Journal questioned Musk about the automaker’s zeal to become a part of the Indian market during their discussion. Of course, he had answered.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted after his meeting with Musk, “Great meeting you today @elonmusk! We discussed a wide range of topics, from energy to spirituality. It was a privilege to meet again, Musk retorted.
The Prime Minister praised Musk’s initiatives to increase technology’s affordability and accessibility across a range of industries. He extended an offer to Musk to look at potential investment customers in India’s commercial space and electric vehicle sectors.
Tuesday morning, the Prime Minister departed for the US for a distinguished State Visit, a privilege only accorded to the closest of allies by Washington, DC. A speech to a joint session of the US Congress, meetings with corporate executives and Indian expatriates, and a state dinner at the White House with US President Joe Biden are among the Prime Minister’s agenda highlights.
