Modi’s Heartfelt Birthday Visit: PM Modi Extends Warm Wishes to LK Advani on His 96th Birthday
“Visited Advani Ji’s home to convey my heartfelt birthday wishes,” the Prime Minister shared on X.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to the esteemed BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani on his 96th birthday, extending heartfelt greetings. Modi took to X to express, “Went to Advani Ji’s residence and wished him on the occasion of his birthday.” The Prime Minister also shared cherished pictures with the veteran leader, capturing the essence of their warm encounter.
In the images circulated on social media, Lal Krishna Advani was captured in the company of the Prime Minister, alongside other prominent BJP figures such as Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh.
At the onset of the day, PM Modi conveyed his heartfelt wishes to LK Advani on X. Modi expressed, “Warm birthday greetings to LK Advani Ji. A stalwart of integrity and dedication, his monumental contributions have fortified our nation. Under his visionary leadership, our country has witnessed significant strides in progress and unity.”
Expressing his sincere wishes, PM Modi added, “I wish him good health and a long life. His tireless efforts towards nation-building continue to inspire 140 crore Indians.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also joined in extending birthday greetings to the 96-year-old leader, acknowledging him as an “eternal source of inspiration” for all BJP workers. Shah conveyed on X, “Wishing a joyous birthday to the respected Lal Krishna Advani ji.”

Hailing from Karachi, Lal Krishna Advani, born in 1927, initiated his political journey as a dedicated volunteer of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). His impactful tenure included serving as the Minister of Home Affairs in the BJP-led NDA government from 1998 to 2004.
Notably, Advani assumed the role of Deputy Prime Minister alongside former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee from 2002 to 2004. Recognizing his significant contributions, he was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan in 2015, India’s second-highest civilian award.
Extending warm wishes to Mr. Advani on his birthday, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur expressed his heartfelt desire for good health and well-being. Thakur acknowledged Advani’s unparalleled role in the growth of the BJP and highlighted his selfless service to the nation as truly exceptional.
