Indian Mobile Phone Market has now encountered a new member in the family, POCO X5 pro is the talk of the town with its 5G technology and astounding features. This new member has just hit the Indian markets today on 15 March 2023.
This new 5G mobile falls between the price range 20,000 INR to 25,000 INR which is quite budget friendly.
Looking into the details of the phone – we first have the charger to finish with that is a 67wt charger with type A to type C cable. And then we have the phones body which is beautifully built with solid plastic on its back which features a 2.5D panel creating a glowing finish, it is slim with curved edges and pretty comfortable to handle and comes with Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection.
It is thinner when compared to the previous variants of POCO, this comes handy with just 7.9mm width and 181gms weight which is by far the lightest when compared to the previous X series.
To the sides on the phone we have side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the power button which is very convenient and faster to use accompanied by the volume buttons. Now to the bottom face of the phone, there is a sim card tray that supports dual Nano sim, a type C port for charger.
The top face consists of a speaker drill revealing a stereo speaker with 3.5mm jack, an IR blaster and a noise cancelling button. And coming to the display of the phone it’s the first time that the X series adopted a flagship flexible AMOLED display and the screen is Bezel-less with punch-hole display.
As far as the reviews have come, most of the customers are happy with the display that gives widevine L1 and supports HDR 10 with Dolby visuals. It means a cinematic effect in your hand for just 20,000INR is appreciable. And brightness is 900 nits which is pretty great for indoor usage.
Talking about performance of this masterpiece, we have 5000mAh massive battery that can support 28hrs call time, 14days stand by, 21hrs reading and 20hrs video playback. Refresh rate of this varies from variant to variant and can range from 30hz to 120hz. Something that deserves more appreciation is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778g processor which again comes is just 20,000INR.
This budget friendly phone is great for continuous gaming on high-ultra settings. Taking a look at the storage we have 8GB, LPDDR4X RAM and a ROM of 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. And obviously camera is a must so this comes with 3 lenses for rare camera at the back and 1 for selfie camera at the front.
At the rare facing we have the main camera with 108 mega pixel, a 120° ultra wide camera with 8 mega pixel and a macro lens with 2 mega pixel. At the front we have a selfie camera with 16 mega pixel lens. The additional camera feature is 4k 30fps videography and also includes vlog effect, slow-motion and many other.
Overall the phone can be considered a pro in the given budget when compared to the other mobiles that come within the same price range. But what people are questioning is that, some issue happened with poco x3 in the motherboard and so can Poco X5 be trusted.
Although this time it looks like everything about this is great – there are still people fearing the previous issue.
