Ram Charan and his wife Upasana are expecting their first child

The RRR actor announced today that Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni are expecting their first child. The statement was signed “with love and gratitude” by Ram Charan’s parents Chiranjeevi and Surekha Konidela and Upasana’s parents Shobhana and Anil Kamineni. 37-year-old Ram Charan married 33-year-old Upasana Kamine in 2012.

Ram Charan comes from one of Telugu cinema‘s most prominent families; he is the son of Telugu legend Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind’s nephew, and Allu Arjun’s cousin. Ram Charan made his film debut in Chirutha in 2007, and his other credits include Magadheera, Naayak, Yevadu, Dhruva, Rangasthalam, and other critical and commercial successes.
Ram Charan reunited with Magadheera director SS Rajamouli for this year’s mega-blockbuster RRR, alongside Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn. He also appeared in Acharya alongside his father Chiranjeevi.
Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni, who have known each other since primary school, got engaged in December 2011. In June 2012, they got married in Hyderabad.
Ram Charan, who is also known for his charity work, was recently honored for his achievements in entertainment on NDTV’s True Legend. On this occasion, he said that when Ram Charan started as an actor, his father Chiranjeevi advised him to take care of his staff. Ram Charan explained that he did not say anything to take care of your director and producer.
Ram Charan is currently shooting for his next project RC 15 with actress Kiara Advani.
