“Sheezan Cheated, Shouldn’t Be Spared,” says the mother of actor Tunisha Sharma
After Tunisha Sharma’s mother complained about Sheezan Khan, he was detained on suspicion of aiding suicide.
Days after the 20-year-old television actor Tunisha Sharma was discovered dead on the set of a show she was filming, her mother claimed that Tunisha Sharma’s co-star Sheezan Khan “cheated and used” her.
As a result of Tunisha’s mother complaining about Khan, he was taken into custody yesterday on suspicion of aiding suicide. The two actors romance ended 15 days ago, according to the First Information Report (FIR). This is thought to have upset Tunisha and driven her over the edge.
Vanita, Tunisha’s mother, claimed in a video message that Sheezan had made a commitment to marry the 20-year-old actor but later broke it off. “He continued to date Tunisha despite having a connection with another woman. For three to four months, he used her. Simply put, Sheezan needs to pay for his actions and should not be spared. My child has died, “Vanita, inconsolable, said. She also acknowledged the assistance of the media.
During a filming in Vasai, close to Mumbai, the TV star allegedly committed suicide. She was filming for Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, a television programme that also features Khan. Tunisha was discovered hanging in a restroom, and after being taken to the hospital, her death was pronounced.
In the 2013 film Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap, which had its world premiere, Tunisha Sharma made her acting debut. She has acted in the Bollywood films Fitoor, Baar Baar Dekho, and Kahaani 2 in addition to starring in a number of TV episodes.
The killing of the young actor has given rise to claims of ‘love jihad,’ but authorities say there is no evidence of this at this time.
Girish Mahajan, a minister from Maharashtra and a prominent member of the BJP, is one of many who has said that this is an instance of “love jihad”—a term used by some extremist Hindu groups to claim that Muslim males frequently attempt to seduce Hindu women through marriage and convert them.
Mr. Mahajan emphasised that the coalition government, which is led by Eknath Shinde, intends to introduce strong legislation against “love jihad.”
But the police disagreed. Chandrakant Jadhav, an assistant commissioner of police (ACP), said: “The inquiry is in progress. The victim’s and accused Sheezan’s phones have been taken. As of right now, there is no hint of any other affair, extortion, or “Love Jihad”.”
